Very nice lunch experience here! The burnt carrot was great with the chvre and roasted apple! The lamb mergerz pide was super awesome for both the looking and taste! I was very interested in their other veggie plates and definitely going to have them next time.

Neighbourhood staple with excellent food. Brussels sprouts with bacon and wild mushroom pasta are favourites. Pizzas are tasty, thin-crust perfection. The owner can be off-putting at first as he’s touchy-feely and overly familiar, but he’s harmless and genuinely interested in your experience. They’ve won several contests for their pizza in Las Vegas. Only drawback is their occasional long wait times as they don’t take reservations.

This restaurant has been one of my favs since moving to the neighbourhood 3 years ago. Thank you for making such delicious food that my son and I thoroughly enjoy!

One of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood and a regular haunt. All of the pizzas are stellar and the small plates (especially the Brussels sprouts) are great. The Turkish inspired pide has great flavours. All is great! A baby changing table in the bathrooms would mean my partner and I would visit even more. See you soon none the less 🙂

Warm, friendly relaxed atmosphere, great vibe, good service. Pizza was flavourful, served hot and fresh from their wood oven. They offer a large selection of creative pizza, hand-crafted with some non-traditional toppings. Thin crust, just the way I like it but I like it better when it’s crispy. Our group had the Pumba (tomato sauce, fior de latte, wild boar meatballs, mushrooms, grana padano, caramelized shallots, garlic, oregano) and Margherita. I would go back to try other items on the menu.—-My friends and I went back to Defina and it was an even better experience. We had the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Crispy Green Beans, Vintner’s Board, Meatballs, three kinds of pizza (Expo, Margherita, Pierogi) and Creme Brulee. All very delicious but the standouts were the Expo pizza, brussel sprouts and creme brulee. The only negative was that they don’t take reservations and because we were a group of 6, we had to wait longer and let groups of 2 go before us even though we were ahead of them. We had to wait until a bigger table became available. So, not good for large groups.

My experience here was amazing. There’s nothing I can honestly complain about. The service was great. The food was heaven and the atmosphere was live. There’s something about exposed brick and wood floors that make any dining experience very cozy. I came around 6:30pm and it was packed. I’m guessing not a time for a quiet, romantic dinner if that’s what you’re looking for. It was an even bigger plus when they turned on the Teletoon Retro cartoon channel from a projector onto the brick wall next to the bar – volume muted of course. The Flintstones is not a bad watch while eating. I would eat here again.

Stopped in to try this cute pizzeria in Roncesvalles last night. We started off splitting an order of the Brussels sprouts because they looked delish at the table next to us and they were! The bacon and sun dried tomatoes really added a nice flavour to the dish. The pizza was nicely done also. We had a pizza that has actually won awards, with sausage and mushrooms and buffalo mozzarella. It was perfectly cooked in the wood burning oven. A great spot for some delicious pizza on the West end of the city.
