I ordered the Thai Spring Roll, paying an additional $4 for a shrimp spring roll. Unfortunately the shrimp portion of the spring roll consisted of a tail-on shrimp stuck in either end of two egetable spring rolls. was disappointed to discover that the shrimp was overcooked and dry, and the spring roll was soggy.I’d also ordered the garlic beef but found the beef to also be overcooked and somewhat tough. Altogether, a disappointing meal.

One of the best Malysian curries I’ve had since visiting Malaysia. The Pad Thai was delicious with noodles and veggies cooked just right. The mango salad, samosas and lemon grass soup were also great. We will be back! Best thainso far in Roncessvales

I have been to Thai Home a couple times now and each experience has been fairly pleasant. I would recommend the ‘chicken devil’ and ‘calamari’ so far out of the menu items I have tried, the calamari was crisp and flavourful with a delicious (and unexpectedly) spicy sauce that quite honestly topped most sauces I have been presented with in recent memory. Thats actually worth a mention, many of the sauces at Thai Home are seasoned and well executed. The service has also been extremely friendly- every time I’ve walked into friendly servers and owners whether I’m picking up an order or stopping by for a pint. I really hope they keep up this quality of service and food. My only complaints so far is some of the food could stand to be a touch spicier. Some of the menu items that are delegated as the ‘spiciest’ do not seem super hot, while the flavours are there I have noticed the Calamari sauce seems spicier overall and is not indicated as a spicy dish. Personally, I welcome Thai Home into the neighbourhood and look forward to trying more of the menu items in the future.
