Cool place, good music, bad service. It’s really too bad that the servers here are indifferent to customers. Everything else about this place is cool. The kitchy decor could user a bit of dusting but it’s unique and the place has a nice laid back vibe. Laid back is one thing but not being served is another. I’d like to go back but I probably won’t.
Love this place. Amazing food. Awesome beer selection!
This is a must-go spot!. Local is sooo coool. Great original music all the time! Totally original regional craft-beer selection and friendly bar staff. I think the personality here is super special. Not really a meal-spot for me, sorry. I’d rather eat first, and drink here after. This is a good place for private conversations, because the music is always at crazy maximum so no one can hear anything past a foot or two.
Possibly the best French fries I’ve ever experienced! I got a salad that was mediocre at best and ate all the boyfriend’s fries.
Tasty pub fare. As far as bars go, this one has it all. Great customer service, tasty pub fare and free live music. The CD’s played were also pretty great. I’d suggest this bar to anyone that wants to meet up with a group of friends for a few drinks.
Stunning – Blew my mind…. This restaurant is hands down my favourite in the city right now. The food is brilliant, unpretentious and great value. We have done the chef’s tasting menu and could not believe the sheer quantity and quality we received for only $50.The meats and the pastas are the real stars here and the flavours are thoughtful and surprising. The wine list is great and reasonable and the staff are well informed and friendly. The maple cured pancetta, steak tartare and beet & ricotta pasta were sublime. We went with my parents and asked for the chef to surprise us – we were served an feast of delights, each one better than the next.I just want them to come back from their European holiday as I am in Salumi Platter withdrawal!!
Hang out for drinks and music. It’s not the place that would come to mind if I was trying to decide where to go. However if my friends were already there, I would join them for a few drinks and enjoy the live band… but that’s it. I like that they do offer a good selection of local brews and the bartender who served us was quite knowledgeable about each one. I wouldn’t order food again, unless I was super hungry and willing to drench everything in Heinz.
