What is this place. This place is trying to be upscale meanwhile it looks like a sportsbar in mississauga with abut 5 tvs all around in no way does it resemble a pub.the manager or host said after our meal something like oh heres your 17.28 change back after we left cash to pay. was that him inferring that we should hav left it for his tip. he was creepy and so was dolly from kapuskasing
Pub with Kitchen that Shames Pricey Restaurants. Service 9/10: These guys are all over you with service from the minute you walk in. Chef tours the tables.Food: 10/10The reasonably priced cuisine at this restaurant/sports pub beats the daylights out of many of Roncesvalles’ over-trendy overpriced restaurants.Glazed perk chop with butternut squash puree and apple & fennel salad was outstanding.Mushroom penne also excellent – we kept eating each other’s dinner.Some of the restaurants across Roncy should take lessons from the chef of this unusual restaurant/sports pub.
Love!! Love!! Love!!. From great atmosphere to really and I mean really good food, this place has it all. There was four of us and we all shared and tried everything. Talk about done right calamari and the portabello fries are a must try. The night just got better with dinner we had the steak, pickarel and pulled pork all while the bartender entertained us with his serious flairing techniques! Tiramisu and creme brule got the thumbs up too! We paid our bill but just couldn’t leave. Ended up staying for just a few more drinks. Can’t wait to go back!!
Loved this new restaurant. We were headed to TO to see an Oscar movie and needed a place to eat close by. Did our due diligence and ended up at Roncy Public. I can’t imagine making a better choice. Our server told us he was the owner’s husband. He was awesome. Remembered our names. Took great care of us. Our food was fantastic. He helped me make some GF choices. I had the Beet salad and the Mushroom Risotto. Wanted to lick the bowl. My friend had the Pickerell and Heirloom carrots. She loved it. Great wine list. Thank you so much for making our evening so enjoyable! Would definitely recommend and go again!
My girlfriend and I were in for dinner. We live in the area and it was very nice to see a new option. We had wings and and a beet salad to start. Have to say the wings with the maple BBQ were some of the best I’ve had. My girlfriend loved the beet salad, one of her favorite things to try when we go out. We had the salmon, and chicken and waffles for dinner. Both were very fresh and spot on. The owner introduced himself and mixed us up some house cocktails. He remembered our names for the whole night. Our waitress gave us polite and attentive service for the entire meal. Will return!
Great find in Roncy… The Calamari is some of the best I have had. Its gluten free as well. Batter was awesome! Penne w Mushrooms was great and the pork chop was huge. Good wine list and the bartender is a whiz at spinning bottles!
Great time!. This new pub just opened and I thought I would check it out. The food was outstanding. I had the chicken and waffles and they were to die for. The bartender was flairing and I had a great time. I will be back!
