One of our favourite local restaurants. Over the past 8 years we’ve been regulars about once a month. The Friday night Chinese buffet is basic American style Chinese food but plentiful and not too expensive and their souvlaki is great. Actually I don’t think I’ve ever had a dish I wasn’t happy with.
We are fairly new to the area. Our friends brought us to George’s roughly 2 months ago. We have been back 3 more times since then. Their food is SO good. I like to call it home-y food. I had the burger and my partner had the club sandwich with a poutine side. Their poutine is really good. The gravy is great but you can tell the fries are frozen. We still love it. The lady who served us was really nice and attentive. Takeout is always fairly fast and when they tell you a time it will be ready within that time!
Terrible Service. Asked for a chicken burger with onion rings, was pretty clear that I wanted actual stuff on my burger, you know, like most normal people. Didn’t get anything on it, barely any onion rings, oh and yeah the jalapeno poppers we’re passable. Not, that’s a sad excuse for jalapeno poppers. Sad excuse for service, and ultimately, for a restaurant.
