Terrible experience. Made a reservation for afternoon tea, got there, and not only did no one remember the reservation, they also appeared to not know their own menu. The manager had to go look at the afternoon tea menu several times, and in the end we got less than half of what was on the menu, and what we did get was shoddy and poorly made- biscotti instead of scones, a panini made of mayo and cheese whiz that hadnt gone through a panini press. Just unbelievably bad.
This morning I was looking for a coffee place in the area and had a pleasant surprise. My intension was to go to the chain neighborhood store next door but changed my mind when i saw this coffee shop. It’s a very relaxed and cozy place; i did not want to leave. I had a bagel with egg, cheese and bacon; it was hot and good. The coffee was excellent! Even if you only go for the atmosphere, it’s worth it.
