Complete rip off. Order for eight if you need to feed two. Over priced and the portions are so small that my tweezers were too big. What a disgrace. Should be reported for gouging. I’d comment on the food but …. what food?
Poor service at Mukut. The food at Mukut was average and the ambiance was ok but the service was poor at best. During our meal, the waiter dropped two Mango drinks all over my wife and father-in-law. My wife had this thick liquid on her hair, sweater and jacket (which had to be dry cleaned). Now I understand accidents happen and the waiter apologised and helped clean up but what really bothered me was that when I was handed the bill, no compensation was offered. Most restaurants will offer up a free desert or something for even the smallest issue but this placed dumped two drinks on my wife and didn’t offer a thing until I pushed the issue. I never should have had to ask! There are a lot of good Indian restaurants in Ottawa and this one is nothing special. I won’t be back.
