About
We are a full service pub style restaurant with a large appetizer/lunch/dinner and gluten free menu. We are located in the heart of downtown Sarnia's culture/historic district with a great view of the St. Clair River. We also have two banquet rooms on the second floor. We have a wide assortment of local musicians playing Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights 9-1am. On Sundays we feature a matinee of Celtic music from 3-6pm and then have an open mic night from 9-1am. We are currently celebrating our 40th year in business. A truly local pub, Ups N' Downs walls are decorated with a virtual history lesson of Sarnia and area with photos, maps, artifacts etc. etc. In the winter we have a fireplace that will warm you up along with a wee dram, and in the summer we have bi-fold doors which open up one side to the street so you can enjoy the warm weather as you watch the lake ships ply up and down the St. Clair river. So drop in and, as the Irish Proverb states, you're only a stranger once.
