To be avoided. We were traveling through and thought that fish for lunch sounded like a good idea. We were the only ones there – at noon! That should’ve warned us right there. The girl who served us was sullen and noncommunicative. My husband’s fish sandwich was good, he said, but my halibut was as tough as shoe leather, and the fries were awful and stale. Avoid at all costs!
First visit. Great food. Horrible service! The host was nice but our server couldn’t care less that we were there. Almost like we were bothering her as we were the only person in there. Will not be going back
Flippers is just wonderful. They have the most wonderful lobster. Good salad bar with a terrific bean salad, fresh fruit and cottage cheese. Just really good food;not too high prices. Excellent fish and there’s even some steak for those people who don’t like fish,like my husband. I always enjoy going there and we go there quite often.
Amazing food and huge portions for the price you pay. Nicest waitress in all of toronto. All fish dishes are amazing and be sure yo get the saganaki (flaming cheese) on the side. Side salad bar is kind of hurting but it’s a great add on to your meal and adds to the great value.
