This place has one, if not, the best pork bone soup (kamjatang) Ive had. My co-workers and I frequent this place after work and their food never disappoints. They give good side dishes like japchae and potato salad and their rice is a healthy black rice. The thing that disappoints us is their customer service. There was a time because of one of the staff, we decided not to eat there and not come back for a while. Sometimes the staff has good but oftentimes it was bad. You could see how pissed the staff are and could be heard cussing in Korean. If they didnt like the job, they could just quit or not show it. Being in the service industry is hard but they shouldnt show it. They could be a reason to not come back for a while.

I really enjoyed this meal. We ordered combo B veggie wraps (grilled pork, bulgogi and mackerel), pork bone soup and kimchi fried rice. There were 5 adults and a toddler. That was just enough for all my of us. The veggie wrap combo was good, bulgogi and grilled pork were tender and tasty the mackerel was flavourful. The dishes weren’t greasy and weren’t full of msg. I personally liked wrapping but everyone else thought it was unnecessary. Pork bone soup was amazing, my favourite dish from this meal. I would go back and just have the soup, perfect for a cold rainy day. Kimchi fried rice was too spicy, it was the only dish we didn’t finish. We went on Sunday around 2:00 pm, the restaurant was half full with steady traffic. The service was slow considering it wasn’t too busy (took 15 mins for ban chan, about 30 mins for food) and they weren’t attentive (had to ask 3 times for tea). With drinks the meal was ~$80, so not too bad for 6 people. I would definitely go back and recommend this place.
Extremely rude service. I came in here with my family today and thought the service was so poor. Food took extra long to come but we waited it out. Food was mediocre but what turned us off was the service. 2 employees in particular were extremely rude. They kept kissing their teeth and grunting for everything. Please do people a favour and don’t serve them if you hate your job in the public sector.
If you want yummy Korean food in scarborough then this is one of the places to check out. It’s not he typical Korean food but the quality of the food is awesome. They have these meat wrap you use lettuce and the favorites like bulgogi. Also a tiny place so be there early cus it does get packed!
Finally returned to this cozy place after many years. Seemed like a long wait to eat during the dinner rush but was worth it and many more customers were lined up after. The best Korean dinner I’ve had with my family. Had Kpop on and my favourite rice tea and served ddukbokki as a banchan. Not to mention the Korean grocery store next door with all the Korean favs and music. Even my parents enjoyed the bibimbap and Bulgogi wraps after much complaining. Will definitely come back!
Love eating here. Food is always very good. My personal favourites are the dol sot bibimbap and the pork bone soup. My rating is based on my experience eating here multiple times. Took some points off for the quality of the wraps that I have received a couple times: once i got a lettuce with a mouldy looking spore on it the size of a pea- I seriously gagged since we have eating half of the wraps already. We showed it to the server who took it and returned apologizing and saying it is because their leafy greens are all organic…….hmm…but then they did replace the basket with a new one so that was good. Some more points taken out for service. The service here is usually excellent, but sometimes they were not ex: ordered more side dishes and asked for tissues and tea- was waiting for a while cause she was really taking long. Looked behind me to see where she was and she was eating at the table behind me. I mean if you are on break, send someone else to the table to serve us. Don’t just come take our order, not say anything and then go to your break..like really now. But anyway, all in all the food is great and will keep coming back. Definitely recommend people to try this place out.
