2017/08/27We were heading back home from a weekend away at a cottage, and we stopped at Halibut House for dinner along the way. The restaurant more than half full on the Sunday evening. There are a variety of fish options one their menu. In general the choices come under halibut (most expensive), haddock (in the middle) and cod (least expensive). There are also starters, salads, seafood, chicken, burgers, Greek and more. SWMBO decided on Haddock & Fries ($10.95) and I chose the Cod & Chips Sunday Special ($7). Both plates came with a decent portion of beer-battered fish. The batter was a medium weight (compared to other fish & chips shops), and was nice and crispy. The fries and slaw were pretty good too.
