Awful. This is terrible food. Bland, tasteless and loaded with sodium and MSG. I can’t believe the other reviews on this site. Obviously people have never tasted really good Asian food. This is awful. Dishes loaded with cheap vegetables (onion) and skimping on the goods (chicken, shrimp,pork). Try some real asian food from downtown Toronto then come back to this place and you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Yum yum!. I am visiting family and was craving Chinese food. Now, I am a Chinese food snob…I know what I like and enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine as well as Canadian style food. I almost ordered in Whitby but did not want to drive to pick it up so decided to take a chance on Yummy Wok – I am glad I did. I ordered egg rolls (yum!), beef tenderloin with black pepper, pork fried rice, shanghai thick noodles, mixed veg, General Tao chicken and had it delivered. Everything was fresh, no artificial tasting sauces, vegetables were still crunchy and lightly steamed and plentiful, thick tender pieces of meat – General Tao was lightly breaded, and the ‘spicy dishes’ were lightly spiced so they were tasty but the whole family could enjoy the food. The website even has photos of some of the dishes which I found helpful when ordering. Overall really happy with the experience and I would recommend that others give them a try!
