I have been to this restaurant about 7 times over the years. Love the location, the decor. The service is quick, kind, attentive, and accurate with orders. The serving sizes are generous and I suggest people consider sharing a main course. I really enjoy their bone-in chicken wings with the spitfire sauce. I find the burgers too big for my mouth and biting is hard at times. I find their bakery and ice cream portion a delight, great for a stop while returning home or on a bike ride.

The food is pretty standard fare for a pub, although they have thrown a few British pub classics into the mix. The menu has never changed since it opened. (in fairness, I haven’t been there in several months, so it could have been freshened up) Massive servings, so they are doing their part in supporting obesity, like most restuants. It would be nice to offer a standard portion size, along with the typically huge servings. But all in all, I do think it’s worth stopping in and checking out for yourself. Everyone has different standards. And the service has always been very good indeed. Excellent beer selection!!

Went out to see a certain entertainer but we were on the wrong night so we stayed to have diner and a drink since we had driven 45 minutes to get there. The food was very good and the servers were more than helpful and apologetic about the fact the entertainer we came to see was not going to preform as they hada blues and jazz trio who were performing that night. The entertainment was good. They have a large selection of craft beer to choose from and the food we at was a good size portion for what I thought a fair price (fresh cut fries). We will be back!John & Karen
