Food has great presentation but lacks flavour. Restaurant decor is very nice, although the chairs are cheap and uncomfortable waiting room chairs with purple covers. Could barely tell the difference between the 2 dishes my partner and I ordered. Neither of us can even remember what we ordered. Completely unmemorable.
I’ve been a few times. They never disappoint. It’s hard rating Thai food because there are so many good places. This one is in my top 3 in Ottawa. Very good food!
Total disappointment. A year ago you could barely get a reservation and today we got in right away. Was I happy ! 5 adults and two kids celebrating a family visit. Presentation was great. Servings were reasonable size. BUT Almost everything tastes the same ! The Thai soup was sweet. Too sweet. The spring rolls were fresh and hot but a bit tasteless and the dipping sauce tasted like honey. Not refreshing. The kids though loved it! The duck main course was one of two dishes that was quite good. Veggies were crisp and nicely cooked. Just a bit on the sweet side. The yellow curry was acceptable but the chicken was a bit tough. General Tsao chicken was swimming in sugary sauce ! The mixed seafood dishes were mainly squid and a few tiny bay scallops and a few shrimp. Do I need to say they were too sweet and not much other flavor? ? And everything was equally medium spicy. ( like spicy food ! But I prefer flavorful spicy food!). I used to come here a few times a year even though it’s a bit out of the way, as the food used to be outstanding. So I asked if the have a new chef? Yup. You guessed it. They do. I won’t go back though the cost was reasonable.
