I was there today and they could not the speak english to me first I’m white and canadian what is the issue? There is two official luanguage in this contry English and French. I left they do not need my busibess.
There is certainly room for improvement. I’ve been there a couple of times and I’ve been waiting for my food too long. Even though there are two employees, both times, one was in the kitchen texting, while there were people waiting for their orders. The lady on the till wore gloves, which she kept to make food right after the people paid. The sushi’s were not too bad, snow crab sushi. I will go back in a while to see if things improved, if not, I’ll pick another place.
I could not believe how horrible this place is! My boyfriend and I went in to order the ramen they have features on a sign in the window. First we ordered, my boyfriend the large chicken ramen and myself the tempura shrimp ramen and a spicy tuna roll. My boyfriend noticed that we had been charged extra for the shrimp but we just let it go I said I would eat the extra shrimp. Then he noticed that the girl kept putting things in the microwave, not sure what to make of this we went and sat down to wait for our order to be ready. We waited for about 10 mins and she called us up to get our food… My boyfriends large ramen came in a small glass bowl probably held 8oz. My ramen came in a 4oz paper cup and my roll was very poorly made, The rice was barely covering the seaweed and it was oozing with spicy red sauce which was too much. The Tempura shrimp ramen I ordered did not in fact come with a shrimp but I did get a shrimp on the side in a bag.. if that is what you could call it on the side, it was really just a cold stick of greasy breading. We tried our soups and they were both cold and the noodles were not cooked. My boyfriends chicken was not real chicken either. With all this we decided that we would leave we spent $30 to leave with empty stomachs and a bottle of water. I think this establishment should rethink what they are doing and if they are going to sell soup it should be fresh ( not microwaved) considering Thai Express is attached and their soup is great and made to order. We will never go here again we could have made better ramen with a package from the grocery store!
For fast-food type sushi chain this is honestly not bad! It’s way better than some take out single establishment places around here. The prices are fair and the portions are pretty good. The rolls are delicious, have a good balance of sweetness and tartness in the rice seasoning. Rolls have a satisfactory filling-to-rice ratio. I love their roll with the mango on top and with shrimp tempura and cucumber on the inside.I’d avoid paying for their miso soup though. No flavour at all whatsoever.
I tried the spicey tuna roll and it was delicious! The wait was a little long but it was worth it because it’s made fresh per order.I will definitely go back.
