This restaurant sold out to the former chef and has been renovated as a Mexican specialty restaurant. It is registered as terrible to attract the attention of Tripadvisor to remove it from the listings. It is no longer an active name.
Now called Sol Alcapulco and serves mexican as well. The german food is great. Could have larger serving of fries with meal.
I’ve been here many times and the German food has always been excellent. I would recommend the mixed plate. It has a little bit of everything. Definitely the best German food of any restaurant that I’ve ever eaten in.
I was surprised to learn today that the restaurant has been renamed as Sol de Acapulco. They are still serving the German food from before and have added some Mexican cuisine. I stuck with the German tonight and it was good, as usual.
We go here for shnitzel and cabbage rolls. Very good. Also try the soups. The locationIs in the country along the old # 2 highway. Don’t go by first impression.
