Loved the Taco. Ingredients were fresh and had some great flavour to it. The taco shells are layered with cheese in between them which was nice. I got one taco that was crunchy and one that was soggy so I think next time I’ll ask for crispier taco shells. They were soft shells so obviously there not suppose to be crispy but it was nice. Hope they stay around because suburbia needs taco trucks too.

Meh. I love street food and was happy to try this truck at the Relay for Life. I’ve tried the chicken, beef and fish tacos. The fish is the best but frankly, all three were disappointing. Quite bland.
Stopped by today and tried the Fish and Beef tacos. First off the food was amazing. Service was great and food was cooked fresh and executed to perfection quickly. Tacos were served with lime and a very tasty hot sauce. Kudos to Bonita’s Cantina a good truck with class and quality food. Will def be back with the wife and would highly recommend to others.
Disappointing. Tried Bonita’s for first time today at the Sparks Street Poutine Fest. Let’s start with the good news, the line-ups were reasonable and Bonita’s was serving fast. The bad news:Bonita’s has jacked up its prices for this event. You will pay $10 for a poutine that elsewhere would be considered a small. The pulled pork was watered down with little flavourThey use shredded cheese instead of curds and skimp even on thatOverall it was s poor quality item that was more expensive than the other vendors. Will not be trying them again.
I agree with patlinkin this city has so many terrible restaurants and foodtrucks I can’t believe you can make a living selling crap. this place is no exception. I tried their burrito it’s just a big sloppy mess that tastes like chilli from a can. people in this city obviously don’t know what real Mexican food is. but don’t feel bad bonitas cantina your just 1 out of 100’s of places selling garbage food. OTTAWAS FOOD SCENE IS LAME
