Best Pad Thai around, best Chinese food West end of Ottawa. High quality, fresh, and no MSG. The dumplings, house special chow mein, egg rolls, and spring rolls are always a crowd favourite.
Not bad. Good for this end of town which doesn’t have a lot of Asian options. The pad Thai had too much ginger which kind of ruined it. I don’t agree with putting maple syrup on dumplings. The crispy beef, general Tao, beef stir fry, Shanghai noodles and a couple other dishes were all pretty decent. The service, while very friendly, was lacking. Any time we needed anything, we had to flag our server down. They were not the least bit attentive. Never came back to check on the table. Too bad for them, we’re usually good tippers.
After numerous attempts it should be noted the quality has been slipping. Once a classic favorite, now it is just another ordinary Asian food restaurant that has average food.It benefits from having gluten free options and various spicy levels.Overall, not bad, not great.
Extremely Good Chinese Food. I work close to the restaurant and whether we go eat there or order it to the office, it’s always top quality and hot. They give generous portions and you can tell it’s made to order. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. The dumplings are simply amazing with the sauce they provide and should be tried.
Exceptional Food and Service. You will not find better Asian cuisine in this part of the City. We eat there at least once a month. We have never had a bad experience. If you go, you must try the dumplings. They are to die for. What really sets this place apart is the service. Whether you are a 1st timer or a regular, you are made to feel like you are their most loyal and only customer.Martin & Rose
Amazing food, accommodating staff. I’ve been to kung fu innumerable times since it opened just outside my neighbourhood a few years ago. I even brought a bunch of their food home for a birthday party. This party included two vegetarians, someone who was gluten free and could only eat beef, two people who wouldn’t eat any meat but chicken, and five more teenagers with various preferences. In a group like that its a miracle to satisfy everyone but I heard no complaints. A lot of them went to kung fu again after because they liked it so much and wanted to share it with their families. The service is always excellent and the food is amazing. (Particularly the Edamame!)
