Totally untrue!!!!. I have a HUGE problem with the lie below. I am one of the drivers that was involved in this delivery and the store not only recorded every single phone call but had multiple people involved with this and if you don’t stop lying and trying to slam this business there could be legal action! You called, the very nice female owner tried to talk you out of the delivery do to how far away you were. You call back and place the order anyway. She tells you that it’s really far and that due to this there is NO TIME GUARANTEE plus it would take at LEAST an hour. Then at just an hour you call back completely rude and demand that your food be there right now! The polite female tells you that your order left several minutes ago and should be there soon. You called back again to cancel! They called the driver who then turned around! Then you call back AS RUDE AS CAN be and wanted to know where your food was. The driver turns around and goes back. Then you wouldn’t let her in the apartment and she stood and messages dispatch for 20 min. You call the restaurant back again and threaten them and tell them you don’t want the food. In this industry this is referred to as a DINE AND DASH OR FAKE ORDER! You wanted to pay with separate bills but one of your friends paid by visa and you even called visa and lied to them saying the store had no authority to charge your card. YOU IDIOTS ACTUALLY TRIED TO TELL VISA THIS STORE COMMited fraud! They played the recording back for visa and visa put the charge through! You wasted over $100 of food. 2 drivers time and gas who actually do this for a living and then try and slam them. FYI delivery companies keep a blacklist of people like you! Wing King’s food and service is awesome!You’re a liar!
DISGUSTING. We placed an order last Friday at 7pm and they told us it would take an hour for delivery, which was fine. After waiting patiently for an hour and a half, we called the store to asked if the food was on its way. The owner of the store came on the phone and said very rudely that she told us it would take longer than an hour and hung up the phone! We called back 20mins later to cancelled our order because we had waited an hour and 45mins when they initally said an hour. They said they werent going to cancel our order and that we still had to pay for me. The woman owner hung up the phone on us again. We tried calling back multiple times but the owner kept hanging up. Intally, when we placed the order over the phone, they said their debit system was down so if we wanted to pay for it with a VISA, we had to do it over the phone. Since we thought this business was legit and had to follow the ethics of running a business, we went ahead and gave them our information. Well, at 9:45pm, we had a knock on the door. It was our food. So after almost a 3hour wait AND after canceling our order, they still demanded we take our food and pay for it. We refused and sent them on their wat. They charged our credit card STILL after we did not accept the order when it came almost 3 HOURS LATE. We have contacted VISA and the Hamilton Police Station to investigate further. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS. The owner has an disgusting attiude and is over all very rude. It felt like I was talking to a mouthy teenager. Horrible way to treat your customers or to run a business!!!!
Not very happy. I paid 20.00 dollars for a half of rack of ribs and a ceasar salade, the ribs were full of tiny bones every bite I took and the ceasar salad was regular lettuce with croutons no bacon not even bacon bits! and that was 5 bucks you need to put a bit of care in what you serve your customers!
Hmmmm disagree totally. Wow…unless you have a fryer at home with some sick ass ingredients you ain’t makin these babies at home! These wings were huge and breaded. Never tasted anything home made or frozen like it! Thai sauce is perfect combo of sweet and spicy! Did you say $6 Tuesday? Thanks for the tip! LOL03 Aug, 2013Wag Jag….really?. #1 – these we’re the best wings omg! The wag jag deal was great. As for the comment below, couldn’t disagree more. Also, the wag jag VERY CLEARLY says you have to bring in a hard copy. If you now that and then don’t bring it in how can they validate it? He was very nice and the wings were awesome – just awesome! Your review sounds like sour grapes more rather than bad food. Do you slam people on,line every time someone says no to you? Brutal!
Bad Wings. Wings are breaded wet and mushy . Made with Diana sauce. Anyone with access to a kitchen can make these wings. These wings are nothing special not crispy lame with very average store bought sauce.Only buy tuesday for $6 but that is even over priced for these pathetic wings.
Big Fat Wings. We must have lucked out, because when we went a woman was behind the counter and she couldn’t have been nicer. We ordered 3lbs of wings: hot BBQ and garlic BBQ and polished them off in under 30 min. If you want big fat wings without making a big fat dent in your wallet, here’s the place to get them. Sadly, this is not a sit down wing joint. With only a handful of stools facing a window, your options are limited: take out or eat alone. It’s nothing to write home about, but if you’re looking for quick, stop by. Be prepared though, there’s no dip and the wings are noticeably breaded, but it’s good bang for your buck.
Wing King has terrible customer service. We ordered our wings with a wag jag deal. The man who served us was extremely rude and unwilling to help us. We had the wag jag app and the voucher which clearly showed it was unused. He essentially wasted his food. On the phone when ordering in the past, he is short, grumpy and unpleasant. Wings are satisfactory at best- we just wanted to use our last wag jag. I recommend Wings Up!
