I’ve been a huge fan of Jonny Blonde and his beautiful partner, Layal Ayala since they first opened their truck a short 3 years ago. I love their passion for this city and how they use their business to make a difference for so many charities. They’re 2 of the hardest working people I know and are loved by so many. They’re inspiring at so many levels. They take every opportunity to contribute to many good causes. I heard they’re about to open a restaurant on Concession Street, which I’ll be super excited to visit when they open. Their food is AMAZING. My favourite is the Peachy Blonde, Jonny’s signature sandwich. Of course all the food is delicious.
Just found out Jonny Blonde won Best Food Truck in Hamilton 2nd year in a row by View Magazine… Congrats Jon and Layal – so happy for you. This truck gets two thumbs up and 5 stars from me. I’ve eaten at other trucks but I always have to come back to Jonny Blonde because – well, it’s addictive. I can taste the fire in the bread and the meat and toppings are always so fresh. If you haven’t tried this food, you owe it to yourself to find this truck!

Canada Day at Bayfront Park. We were excited for a food truck experience after having watched many episodes of Eat Street. We looked over our choices at Bayfront Park and decided to give a few a try. We sampled a steak truck and had poutine from another. It was the Peachy Blonde from Jonny Blonde that gave us what we were looking for. Fresh, tasty, creative and real food. I wish we had tried the sweet potato skewers…they looked tasty too. We will definitely try more menu items from Jonny’s if we are lucky enough to come across them again! P.S. They say they’ll be on the new season of Eat St. Always a good sign of great food.
Fresh and exciting. Just happened to stumble across this food truck earlier today and ordered the peachy blonde. No idea I was in for such a treat! I will likely become a stalker……it was simply amazing.
There’s a lot going on here. Really enjoyed Jonny’s Peachy Blonde the other day. What’s important to me is knowing the meat is antibiotic free. That’s AMAZING – and from a food truck!
Best Bacon I’ve ever had. I’m seriously going to stalk this truck. Just had THE most delicious bacon I’ve ever eaten. Jonny – whatever you’re doing – keep at it. LOVE your food!
