NOT HAPPY. We bought VIP passes last year that expire in October 2014. We were advised to buy them from staff so when we come on Tuesdays for lunch which is $5.00 or dinner which is $10.00 with any beverage purchase. To our surprise on our daughter’s birthday the deal wasn’t valid. They changed the deal to buy one and get one half price. We were three people so we paid full for two and half for one. We wish the hostess would have said something about the change in deal and price prior to seating. Really upset as our bill turned out to be about $25.00 more expensive than usual. Very disappointed and the place is now empty. THEY USED TO BE PACKED ON TUESDAYS FOR LUNCH AND DINNER! OH, MY SEX ON THE BEACH DRINK DIDN’T TASTE LIKE ANYTHING BUT JUICE!!!NOT SURE ABOUT EVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!! TOO EXPENSIVE NOW!!IT IS EMPTY!!!!

I’d come back …. Have been coming here since they opened. The food is good, but I really wish they would significantly raise the temperature on the water keeping the food warm!! Doesn’t take long for the food to cool once you’re at the table. Also, make certain that crackers & forks for the lobster & legs are available at the buffet counter, rather than having to ask the staff.I fear the place has slipped somewhat over the last year or 2. I have found quality to vary from visit to visit. Management should look into that.Generally, I have found the staff quite pleasant and accommodating. In response to the chap with the 30+ party, I had one at this location a while ago (50-60 people). I arranged things with management several days in advance, and they went out of their way to make certain we had a private room for ourselves. In regard to unruly kids, seems that tends to be common, no matter where you go any more. Can’t blame the establishment for that. One thing I have NEVER felt in this place is being rushed, no matter how busy they are.

Average at best for a buffet. Was better before.

Worst dinner ever… Left just as hungry as when I arrived… Went early on a weekday and as it was not busy, asked to be seated alone or at least away from crowds and they immediately sat a family with a bunch a screaming kids beside us… Food was not fresh… Went to get soup and the woman working there walked in front of me and started replacing the soup as I was attempting to put some in a bowl… Took her 6 minutes… Crab legs were terrible… They were not fresh, waterlogged and foul.. I was ANGRY… In the end I didn’t actually eat anything… I requested to speak with the manager – I was willing to pay for the food but definitely wanted him to know about my experience. I will never go back. Ever!

AVOID. They messed up o…. AVOID.They messed up our reservations. We had to wait while other groups passed us. They seated us in a very crowded room of about 3 fat families. The tables are so close together. (no privacy) majority of food was cold and tasteless NEVER going back.

Pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere and food was much better than the more expensive Mandarin chain. Dining rooms are nicely separated from buffet, and the abundance of closed off, separate, smaller dining areas means a quiet dining experience and they have booths!

First and Last visit. My first and likely last visit to King’s Buffet was not at all what I had hoped. The atmosphere and environment of the buffet was inviting enough ( who doesn’t like the cool koi pond?) but shortly after that initial ‘aaahh’ moment, everything else faded away to cold food and cold service.I had put my name down as a reservation for 3, and was told to wait 15 minutes for dinner service. So my family and I went out and returned when told, but for whatever reason my name was already crossed off. I thought someone in our party had seated ahead, so I was told to check both dining rooms to try and find them. They weren’t there, I find out later that nobody had even gone in yet! So why was my name crossed off? I was made to wait after 2-3 other parties were seated ahead. Despite all the empty tables, we were seated promptly in the middle of 5 other groups. The tables are so close together and so lacking in privacy, it felt much like a high school cafeteria! We would shuffle past each other to get to the dining room, which felt stupid when half the other tables were still empty. I understand seating your customers closely is done for practicality’s sake, but these table groups felt -too- close. Food — Food lacked in every way. About the best item I can speak to were the soups, they tasted authentic. Everything else was standard fare or less. Much of the food was cold and unappetizing! The lobster was river lobster and cold by the time my hubby had some. That was my biggest problem with it — most of the food was not hot at al. The green tea was bag tea and served in cheap plastic mugs.
