Good pasta, not-so-good owner.. Our server was nice, and so was the hostess. The owner was not.We were seated in a section away from other customers, because we requested it. After we sat down, the female owner/cook came out and rudely told us to move. We explained that was where we were seated, and the owner said our hostess was new, she didn’t know we couldn’t sit there, and we had to move. She was really confrontational about it.My pasta was okay, but really overpriced. $31 for a starter, a single entree, and a non-alcoholic soda. My friend’s butterfly steak/shrimp was served with frozen vegetables (seriously?), and the meat looked like it had been run over in a parking lot as part of the preparation process. It looked like one of those Swanson Hungry Man dinners. The owner is really unfriendly. I would not eat here again, unless I’m in the mood for overpriced plates served with a side of good ol’ fashioned racism and barely contained contempt from the grinch in the kitchen.
Lunch. Haven’t eaten dinner in the restaurant so can’t comment but the lunch takeout can’t be beat for flavour and value. There are a few tables to eat in if you want. Veal on a bun is amazing. Owner lady is very personable and makes you feel at home. Highly recommended.
Was not impressed. If Authentic Italian Cuisine means straight from the grocery store’s frozen section then yes thats an accurate description. Our starter of mozza garlicbread was good but was familiar because it was the standard grocery store garlic loaf. Before I ordered the lobster stuffed salmon I inquired if the lobster stuffing contained bread. I was told no. The dried out salmon was indeed meagerly stuffed with bread and tasted exactly like Captain Highliner. My vegetables were frozen beans and the rice was Uncle Ben’s I am sure. I did not eat it. My companions dinner of chicken alfredo was dried up and tasteless and the processed chicken had the fake bbq taste of a frozen dinner chicken alfredo. He did not finish his dinner either. Did we want desert the waitress inquired? Absolutely not. Get us out of here. We were the only guests on a Saturday night except a few men hanging at the bar drinking. We should have taken this as a bad sign.Do not eat here. EVER.
