I am often suspicious of banh mi, not for religious reasons or anything but because I much prefer a long bubble bath. But this banh mi doesn’t do that! It is both malleable and sanguine. I also very much enjoy the counterman, who offers just the right amalgam of sass and conviviality. My moustaches twirl to you, fine sirs!
After reading so many good reviews, I finally visited and the food is honestly great. Had the Chicken Bahn Mi and it was delicious and a pretty good portion. The pickled veggies were well balanced to the chicken and didn’t over power it. And the bbq sauce used wasn’t too spicy or salty. Will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu. Add on:Came back again after they updated their menu and tried some of their sushi rolls and burritos. They were delicious and VERY cheap compared to other sushi places around town. Limited number of rolls but definitely enough to satisfy my dynamite roll and spicy crispy roll cravings. I had the california and dynamite roll combo for $10 and came with 16 pieces total. Complete steal since I would probably be paying somewhere between 15-20 for this at any sushi place in London.

The meat was done in a delicious sauce, topped with fresh veggies, and served on a huge bun. The fries were crisp and hot, and everything was made fresh to order. A sandwich and half an order of fries was incredibly filling, too. Will definitely be going back!
This was my first time and it certainly won’t be my last! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and fries combo and it was delicious. The traditional banh mi pickled veggies were on par, the grilled chicken was glazed with a tasty BBQ sauce, and the bread was baked to perfection. The fries were crisp and delicious! Highly recommend this place to anyone craving a banh mi sandwich!
