Absolutely loved this restaurant- great food made with local ingredients, service was excellent, and overall super fun atmosphere. Our server made great suggestions- tried the California burger with Fruli beer- awesome meal overall. Going here with a big group would be a blast for sure! Though the prices are a little more expensive for a student budget- it’s totally worth it! Going back again soon.

Okay so I had a bit of an attitude going here. Was not our first choice but severe traffic jam had me turning back and giving this a try. Also, even though it is set up for beer drinkers and I enjoy the odd beer, I wasn’t in the mood for a beer and wondered if the emphasis was only beer and the food was only an afterthought. Kind of like ordering pork chops at the Swiss Chalet. Well I must say we were pleasantly surprised. Started with a generous sized bowl of bacon cheddar soup accompanied with a spinach and artichoke dip. Both, particularly the soup, were very delicious.Partner had the grilled cheese sandwich with copious amounts of bacon and cheese and added a side salad. Both were appreciated and certified exceptional.I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fresh cut fries and had a tough time finishing- plan to forget the spinach dip next time – I was very happy with my meal and appreciated their fresh cut fries. A lot of pub style bar/restaurants cook theirs from frozen and I have issues with that. Pub style restaurants wanting to insure diners will return must go the extra mile and that means above other things they have to serve fresh cut fries. Service was exceptional. The only negative for us were the small tables but otherwise a good place to go for a beer or a meal. Would definitely return.—-Returned and had a half rack of ribs and a beer and cheddar soup. Delicious! Still like the place. Still feel the tables are too small. Will return.

Good selection of beer but way overpriced.Ordered a $17.5 Mac and Cheese and Smoked Brisket. The Mac and cheese was okay but both dishes came out cold. Not recommended.

If I could give negative stars for this place I would. I used to go here with friends in the summer for dinner and drinks and the staff was awesome. Door staff was extremely friendly and servers were knowledgable. Recently my friends and I have gone here on more than one occasion and the service has been sloppy. The staff is unorganized and our server had no idea what she was talking about when explaining our beer choices (I have worked at a brewing company for 8 years). On one visit, or food took over an hour to get to our table and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Our food came to us cold and when we asked to speak to the manager our server told us they were basically too busy. Ended up not even eating the food and leaving. NEVER going here again.

Might be a good place to try different beers but don’t go if you want to eat. Overpriced, small portions and horrible food. Have not met anyone yet who has been satisfied with the food

My hubby and I went here the other night for dinner.. I had been here once before and had a good experience drink wise but the food was aweful. Decided to go again. This time git different food. Our server was very helpful in helping me pick a beet wanted something fruity like the fruli beer the one she recommended was a cherry one and it was tasty.. our food can fast and was hot. The hubby got pulled beef tacos and I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and side of gravy. The food this time was very good lots of bacon on my burger the only thing that was a downer my hubby left hungry he thought he’d get more tacos. You get two small ones 4 inch ones for 9 bucks it doesn’t tell you how many you get on menu not that I remember so he was a little disappointed with that. But my burger was big and the gravey was very good. Will return again

Sports-bar casual atmosphere in North London. Fish tacos were great. As were poutine fries. Large selection of beers. Good for either a group of friends or casual date. Probably need a reservation at night on a Friday/Saturday.Just an update, changed my rating due to having our food just not come after nearly an hour on a non-busy Thursday night. The waitress was nice enough about it, but it was a rather disappointing experience. Beertown is still a great place to get some beers and when there are zero time constraints, but it has definitely been a disappointment today.
