Visited DQ /Orange Julius in the last few days for an ice cream treat and was amazed at the options this combo place had and they ranged from fruit smoothies to ice cream to hamburgs. Not sure about how the burgers stood up to comparison with other burger places but it would scratch the itch. Smoothies are their trademark and they are good. The combined outlet and different scale variety are testimony that small mall outlets like this need to diversify to survive. Okay for a mall meal.
It’s a 50-50 shot with Dairy Queen. Half the time, it’s a sweet sweet Blizzard I can’t help but be horribly addicted to. The other half of the time, what I receive from the staff bears little to no resemblance to the food I actually ordered. If the quality control was even a little better, my nostalgia-covered glasses would make me rate this Dairy Queen higher. But sadly, it ain’t.
