Absolutely fantastic! We have gone here more than a dozen times and have loved every last bit! Yoda’s creativity and execution make Glassroots the best restaurant in London! All of the front of house staff are extremely personable and always accommodating. I would always recommend Glassroots to anyone wanting to try something new and refreshing!
I really, really wanted to love this place. But I didn’t. The prices are too high for what you’re being served and the flavours were underwhelming. I went with a group of six so I got to taste and see a large variety of that week’s menu. The portion size is very small. I paid $16 for a bowl of soup that was mediocre at best, miso with Raman noodles and squash. The food lacks flavour, I can make much better vegan food at home for a fraction of the price. I will give their cheese boards/platters my approval though, I really enjoyed that, but again, $26 for two dollops (the size of a nickel) of vegan cheese and some fancy pickled foods I could have gotten at the grocery store or farmers marker…I was hoping it would fill the shoes of Veg Out but it has fallen short by a very long shot.

We had a great experience at Glassroots! The cool ever-changing menu, patio surrounded by an edible garden, and super friendly staff all contributed to the fantastic atmosphere and unique dining experience. The food was fresh, flavourful and creative. The weekly menu takes advantage of fresh local ingredients and my friends with food restrictions loved the vegan, gluten free, organic menu. Can’t wait to go back and try something else here!
