Went to for nachos and beer, Texas size Cornas were good but very big and the dirty nachos were very good. It wasnt busy as it was mid afternoon but the service was very good and fun to joke with. Overall a good spot for catching up with friends.
I’ve been here half a dozen times and never been happy with the food. Always try something new, never been impressed with the flavour. Maybe it’s just not the place for me. I want to like it with their great patio, but their food is too processed and bland for my liking. Sorry guys. I’ll probably keep occasionally trying it here and I’ll update if anything changes.
I have been many times and love it! Last time I had the bubbas beef brisket and I have been to Dallas/Fort Worth many times and love brisket! It was comparable, now my new favorite meal on the menu!
Great food and service. My mother and I went for dinner. we were greeted fast and seated we had complementary chips and salsa and it was really good. we ordered the faijtas with chicken and beef mixed. we got all you can eat topings and corn tortillas that are made to order in their machine. we also got deep fried ice cream for dessert and it was delicious. our waitress was very nice amd brought us more toppings and drinks without having to ask. the only downer was having to pay to park. if I go back i probably wouldn’t drive because it costs so much to park but the food waa really good
Good times!. My hubby and I used to live near Kingston and would go to Lone Star when we could. When I heard we were getting on in London I was super excited as we always had a greatmeal and a great time. We have been three times or so in the past few months and every timeit’s been great. Love the free chips and salsa! We’ve had the onion ring tower to start which is very good and the sauces they give to dip are a good contrast. My hubby always gets the rib and wing combo and says they are the best ribs he’s had in the city. I seem to always get the chicken chimichanga and it’s awesome! The staff is always fantastic and the food is great, which keeps us coming back.
Why The Bad Reviews?. This place totally beat my expectations as I had a negative vibe before going here from reading the reviews. We sat in the bar area and had great, fast and super friendly service. Our waitress ‘Taco’ was perfect (and I’m not a big fan of too many waitresses!)Our steaks were cooked perfectly to order and the ribs were out of this world yummy. Our drinks were never left unattended and there were always loads of free chips to be munched on.No complaints — not one!We will be back 🙂
Not bad.. Had chicken fajitas earlier this week. They were fine, but if they treat the food the way the treat their staff, I don’t want to eat here again. Really unimpressed with what I saw – one staff member was in tears.
