Overpriced for what it is ($8 for six tiny pieces of sushi) but the spicy salmon sushi is so yum! Would prefer a bigger roll (more fish and more rice) but the flavouring with the green onion was on point. stephaniealau.com
Really great! Have visited several times since discovering this gem last month. Lovely folks, very patient and pleasant to deal with. I really appreciate their attention to detail – fresh chunks of tofu in the miso soup (not the freeze dried cubes), and they fry their tempura to order instead of drying ahead of time for the dynamite rolls etc. nothing worse than getting cold, soggy, funny shrimp Ishtar was fried yesterday inside a maki roll, but believe it or not, a lot of restaurants do that these days! Not so at Miso Sushi, and I dig that! It doesn’t look easy, with the single server running about to put orders in the back room kitchen for noodle dishes, soups etc, and then also running food from the sushi bar, but they do a great job and put out really good food! If you are into spice, try the spicy yaky udon – it’s a great dish, super spicy, and a change of pace from sushi if that’s what you normally default too!
Excellent!. I ordered the 15 piece Sashimi combo tonight and it was amazing! The Miso soup is lovely and light!! I could not get over how fresh and delicate tasting the fish was! What a deal! I would definitely order again!
Went in here yesterday, absolutely love this place! Very fresh, well cut fish. The rice is made in a traditional style. Everything is very authentic. We had the sushi sashimi combo for 2 (45.00) and their was a lot of food. To top it off it mostly consisted of salmon and yellowtail. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice as well
Fresh, friendly and delicious. My daughter and I had sushi and sashimi combo for 2 with tea and enjoyed the fresh food and service. It was quite a lot of food for 2. We will be back!
Phenomenal! Very fresh, great service, and central location. We had sushi and sashimi combo for 2 and every piece impressed, and we almost couldn’t finish it. They are also open late, which is a plus. Definitely try it!
So good!!!!. My boyfriend and I decided to go eat at miso sushi because of the great reviews here. And wow, they were so right! We ordered some spicy salmon, korean sushi (Kim bap) and BBQ chicken. And for once, we actually finished all of it. We always over ordering food because we never know what the taste of the food would be like. I am so glad we got the BBQ chicken it was delicious! The sweet marinated sauce all over the soft and NON- DRIED chicken! (I don’t like eating dry chicken) the spicy tuna was really good but I have a low tolerance for spicy food. So it was a tad bit spicy for me but still good! I make Kim bap at home all the time and hadn’t it for a while so I decided to order it and eat it for old time sake. And guess what? It was good as well haha Although the restaurant is small, the service was great and food came quicker than we expected. Which is a big plus because we were awfully hungry!
