I live in the Oxford and Wonderland area of London which has a glut of sushi restaurants – Heart, 168, Wonder et al. I will however drive downtown and deal with parking etc. to get Miso Sushi. I havent tried every place in town but Miso is better that the others Ive had. Everything just tastes a little fresher and crisper there. The sushi pieces have respectable pieces of fish, unlike some places that seem to give you a translucent shaving on top of a mound of rice. One unusual thing is if you want sushi pieces they are on a separate menu that you have to request. The rest of the menu is very diverse and uniformly well-prepared.
Great hotpot! So filling. They also make a delicious talk soba. So flavorful. The staff are very polite, friendly and fast. All in all a great place, but not the greatest sushi. Everything else on the menu is great though.
Delicious jjambong noodles which I always get when I go, sided with a roll. Only wish would be that they would either price down the dishes ($10+ for 8 pieces of rolls?!) or add more seafood into soup dishes. Jjambbong only has two or three tiny pieces of squids… But great tasting. Would go more often after these changes.
