Wow! The pizza there is to die for very rich and flavourful they do not cheap out on their ingredients all fresh real bacon and let me tell yah the owner was extremely nice gave me a nice loaf of fresh bread and totally very old school atmosphere
Okay I’m a sucker for family runs, pay little attention to delivery complaints because they are often out of restaurants hands and even if bothersome seldom speak of food quality, and I believe most restaurants are not open just to self destruct although I admit there are some that should never open.Papa’s restaurant is a small unassuming location near the railway tracks. The eat in part is an old unmodernized but comfy old Italian environment one might find in a little Italian village.Owners very engaging as I waited for my take out order and learned that it had been family run for over 40 years. It’s proximity to the university suggests that it is heavily favoured by students. They have no delivery and only take cash.We had the large deluxe which was home made, very large and absolutely loaded. It is also usually on special for $13.95 including tax ! In my opinion the best deal in London! They also have a variety of non pizza items which we may try at a later date. Found our meal to be very good and in the top 3 of the many pizza places we have visited. You gotta eat here!
