First off, I don’t like posting negative reviews but I feel I must. After being a loyal patron of pita pita for many years I have to say the quality has diminished to the point of being unsanitary and inedible. Tonight I bought dinner there with my roommate, and to be frank it was awefull. The front door was propped wide open leaving the restaurant both unsanitary and cold. The clerk who waited on us didn’t wash his hands and slipped on some lousy plastic gloves after handling cash. The vegetables and toppings were dried out, stale looking and nearly empty. The rotisserie of shawarma cooking was nearly full and it appears the burners were turned down in an attempt to extend the life of the chicken as nobody was coming in. The meat that was placed in our pittas was being held at room tempature, burnt to a crisp and tasted very poor. The pittas were not grilled for more than 20 seconds and were lukewarm when served to us. The final insult is the fact that I now have a churning stomache and bad indigestion, I will NEVER be going back here. I’m very disappointed, this used to be a real hotspot and offer great food.
