We stopped by here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and were impressed. I had the breakfast special for $6.95 and got two eggs, three strips of bacon, home fries, toast and bottomless coffee. The place was quite busy during our entire breakfast, but the wait staff were great and very attentive so we didn’t have to really wait for service or for our food. The restaurant is definitely set up as a little sports bar/pub with sports memorabilia adorning the walls, several TVs and a central bar area, but works well for the breakfast rush too. I will definitely be back for breakkie and will maybe give lunch a try in the near future too. Five stars for the breakfast experience!
This place has barely been open a few months but already has an early morning following. Owned by the former owners of the Green Lantern and Billy T’s both bar and popular breakfast places, the owners decided to fashion this place like the others they had owned by offering a quality reasonable breakfast and bank on satisfied visitors returning for lunch and the evening bar.We have only attended breakfast so my review is limited to that meal.We arrived early Saturday morning and had our order almost immediately taken. Both ordered the $5.75 special with 2 eggs, 3 strips of bacon, two orders of toast, home fries and a bottomless cup of coffee. We were barely through our second sip of coffee when our food arrived. Everything was cooked to our order, the food was hot and fresh, coffee was hot and refilled, staff was very pleasant. What’s not to like? We will definitely return. You gotta eat here!Update July 2017Returned here for breakfast and it was all good. This place is an example of how a successful restaurant should run. Good quality food within the reach of most diners, an excellent, efficient and social staff, a clean and interesting interior and food served hot. This is one of the best breakfast places in London. Give it a visit and you will be hooked too. Have upgraded my rating to 5 and am usually stingy with my perfect scores.Update July 2017Had lunch here with a few of our friends. I had the Canadian cheeseburger with Pemale bacon and partner had a lunch sized Caesar salad with chicken fingers. Service was prompt, food was hot and plentiful, price was okay so what ‘ s the problem. It was good but ordinary and nothing to draw us back for lunch (Will definitely return for breakfast). This place needs a signature dish or meal theme to set it apart from other bar places. I do firmly believe that is one aspect of a successful place. Other places have theme items, ethnic dishes, AYCE, signature dishes to name a few that will draw people back. This is a nice place that I think will comfortably succeed as its great breakfast offering will bring people to return.
