I populated this place many times in my younger days and as a member of their championship sponsored baseball teams. It is mostly populated by students and usually packed during nicer weather. It’s main draw is the social atmosphere. No one I know would come here for the food. The outdoor patio holds more patrons than the inside. Cannot see any other watering holes with that distinction. I still like the old place and find it great for a beer stop.
I love the service and atmosphere at the Ceeps. Myself and a group of friends head to the Ceeps for wing night on Monday’s regularly during the NFL season. It is a great place to enjoy the game as there are many TV’s and they turn the sound up during the game. The wings here are some of the better wings one can find in London, last time I ordered 20 but next time will stick with 10. My favourite thing about the Ceeps is the Ceeps Beer or if you will Home Brew. The Ceeps has been making their own beer long before the rest of Ricmond Row decided it was cool. At $2 for a 9 oz glass the price can be beat. It is a smooth beer with a high drinkability factor. The Ceeps is also a UWO hang out and truly embraces students and alumni alike. It is not uncommon to hear people say my parents or grand parents came here when they went to UWO. Keep up the great work guys!!
HORRIFYING. Crazy slow service when it is empty or full. UNEDIBLE food. Worst wings ever made (ordered 20 and ate one bite and left). So bad, you have to try them to see how bad wings can get. Way worse than frozen store bought. This place is in serious need of change unless you are only interested in getting drunk. Then you are in the right place.
You get what you pay for. Cheap beer, average foodwing night is awesomebut other nights you are shafted a bit on portion size in relation to pricegood service though and usually a fun time
Best wing night in town. Monday night they have awesome 35c wings and Monday night football on the big screen.
