We have visited the Keg three or four dozen times anyway over the past 25 years. We are always satisfied with the food ,service and the atmosphere. I can say on occasion it is busy and you have to wait a little.Of course the prices have gone up. I have not yet had the opportunity to visit the new Keg in north London.
Don’t go to this place if you are looking for a cheap meal or do not like beef, steak or seafood. Go here if you like a special and tasty meal and witness a highly professional staff and an unforgettable meal. We started with baked Brie accompanied by red pepper jelly and an extremely delectable pesto sauce. We each had the house Caesar salad and it was delicious.Partner had the Arctic Char with heirloom tomato salad and mashed cauliflower. I had the bacon wrapped filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes. Both meals were cooked perfectly and efficiently served.Tab for two including drinks and tip was $150.00. Not meant to be a frequent haunt as credit card would take a big hit but definitely first class for a special celebration and the choice spot in London for a steak dinner.
