What a lovely find on a rainy Saturday !. I was so pleased to find this wonderful coffee shop today. The coffee is so good and I am very hard to please with coffee. I was pleased to hear about the Gluten Free baking that is available. The scone today was heavenly! While I was there I saw there Deli Sandwich at another patrons table and it looked amazing. One young lady had a gluten free brownie that also looked yummy. The friendliness of the owner was wonderful and that made it award winning for me and will become a frequent place to come to. Delicious Homemade Food, the Neighbourhood’s Best Bistro!. If you’re looking for a fresh-baked treat or a hearty sandwich, the Starving Artist is the place to be! The local artwork on the walls and the open-concept kitchen creates a cozy, homestyle atmosphere, and the owner is welcoming and quick to serve you meals hot out of the oven. I’ve been here many times to try both the breakfast and lunch menus, and I have yet to be disappointed! The deli sandwich is packed full of Italian meats, the banana bread is always moist, and there’s always some kind of fresh baked goodie waiting on the counter. It’s impossible to walk in and only try one thing! And the best part is that most of the foods are gluten-free and still taste delicious. This place is extremely affordable, friendly, and down right scrumptious, definitely a favourite! 18carrotgold.com
