Holy Hanoi is this a must go to place! Reasonable prices, efficient friendly service, hot food and fair sized portions. That pretty well hits the jackpot. Place is family run and in a small strip plaza on Huron Street east of Highbury.I had the chicken/shrimp pad Thai and I can say as a PT junky that it was the best I have tasted.Partner had the B11 which consisted of bean curd wrapped shrimp, grilled pork with vermicelli with lemon grass. She gave high marks to the dish.We started the meal with 4 large Cha Gio or Chicken Spring rolls that were accompanied by separate dishes of special sauce. They were delicious.Diners hesitant to try ethnic dishes miss a lot of delectable delights. Our bill was slightly over $30.00 with tip! You gotta eat here!

Greatest place EVER!. My girlfriend and I frequent this location on a bi-weekly basis. We are obsessed with the delicious Bubble Tea they create. It is both cheap ($5.99) and has astounding quality. Much better than any other Bubble Tea shop in London.The food there is both unique and creative. It has bold flavor and packs fresh quality ingredients. I normally have the Pad Thai (which is to die for) it has great consistency, and flavor. Thuan Thanh’s food is both simple and exciting. The way the palate receives these dishes is on a next level rank. Such simple textures and flavors which gently massage all 5 taste buds, and provoke a spiritual level that lasts throughout the meal. Truly a hidden gem, Thuan Thanh’s atmosphere is both simple and elegant. Its infamous location, on the East side Highbury is one of a kind.I would recommend this establishment to anyone who is wanting to take a risk and plunge into the delicious cuisine of Vietnam.

Best value in town. Any asian food diner in London will know that this is the old Thuan Kieu Restaurant under new ownership for the last couple of years. The current owner, Emily, is very kind and has truly put her own mark on this wonderful establishment. I’ve eaten many pad thai dishes over the years, but hers is the most flavourful and generous that I’ve ever had. And her prices can’t be beaten. Want hot, spicy beef soup? Her H1 has to be tried! You won’t regret it. Again, big portions at low prices.
