Am I missing something?. I honestly don’t get why everyone likes this place so much. The staff is friendly but the food isn’t THAT good? The fries aren’t as crispy as I think they should be and the gravy is nothing special. I’ ve tried the two cheese poutine and normal poutine many times but there it isn’t anything special.
Awesome!. My hubby and I went to Stratford for the first time a few days ago and the first place we went was Boomer’s. I had the poutini martini and he had the hickory stick poutine. Both were so good. Great size, price and the gravy is awesome.
Killer gravy! This place has perfect fries and a amazing array of different poutines. Burgers, dogs and more. I would even drive back to Stratford just for dinner here!
Awesome fresh food!!!. We were in town for the Garlic Festival and we’re looking for a quick lunch. There was a lineup out the door so we thought this place must be good. We were wrong it was awesome!!! The fries, variations of poutine and the burgers are outstanding. The Italian Poutine with white cheese curds, marinara sauce, and basil oil was outstanding. The Black and Blue Burger was a very spicy and tasty burger. All the food is prepared fresh, from local ingredients and the owner Sue is quite entertaining. We have been back and will continue to make this a must when we visit Stratford.
Great Food. Awesome fresh stuff! I had Chili Fries and wanted more for sure.. my wife had the goat cheese fries and she loved hers too. we will for sure goin back to try some more goodiies from Boomers..!!!!
5/5: Small, friendly place with with more than just fries. You can choose your hamburger, veggie burger, wild boar burger and more in about a dozen different styles. My wife and I each had the Soprano burger, which was topped with onion ring, prosciutto and provolone. Tasty burger and fresh ingredients. We also had excellent fries and onion rings as sides. Thank you Sue!
