They serve up good burgers. The party itself is too salty, but the toppings are good, the bun is nice and the onion rings are excellent. The prices are not so good. It’s a bit hard to justify. I don’t think I will go back for a burger (too salty for me) but I would try the wrap and definitely get the onion rings.
Service??Price?? Food!!. Really good food, service…well just go for the food. Not sure why everything you would think should come with your meal costs more. Menu prices look good but watch out for the add on’s your $10 burger jumps to $15 in no time
I have to say I was impressed! Probably the best burger I have had in a long time. The patties are fresh with homemade buns .. Service was very good as well.. the decor was our taste as well .. Ladies bathroom was clean but very small .. the made In house red valet cake is excellent ! We will be back ..
DSB. My wife and I were in on Friday for lunch. First visit after hearing great things. The food was great, the time it took to get the food, I guess they figure everyones taking lots of time for lunch. You will need over an hour for lunch when its not busy. And the pricing is just crazy, you have to pay extra for every topping, so if you order a $12 burger be perpared to pay like $20.But like I said first…Great food!
Had a great time there!. My family and I visited Downie Street Burgers on October 28th, 2012 after seeing a show at the Avon Theatre across the street. The service was great, the food was excellent and the price reasonable. We’ll go there again.
Good food, so-so service. Super tasty and creative burgers made with care. My husband and i both enjoyed our meals. Our only complaint was that the service was pretty erratic. Drink orders were wrong for us- everything else was good, but I could see many other tables sending food back as it wasn’t what they ordered.
Yummy. Uhhhh-mazing!!!! My husband and I went to Downie Street Burgers on a date night after walking by it several times and smelling the incredible aromas! Let’s just say we returned a second time in the same week. Both times we had outstanding service from the same young waiter and the food and presentation was incredible. I recommend everyone trying the onion rings as they were the best I have ever tasted. I told my husband you know when it’s a good restaurant when you have entered even left and all you can talk about is reviewing this joint online and recommending it to everyone. My husband and I have only ate at their outdoor seating area so I have no idea what the inside looks like, but we loved watching the Stratford life while we ate.
