Service was prompt and the food was delicious. We started off with shrimp Tom Yum soup with lemongrass, lime leaves, fresh chillies, mushrooms, tomatoes and spring onions. They also had some broccoli in there, which was the only thing that threw me off. It was on the sweet side but DD#2 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They didnt scrimp on the shrimp either. We then shared, family-style, our traditional favourites–Curry Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Beef Red Curry. We also tried the Chef Recommended Crispy Garlic Chilli.The Curry Pad Thai was really good and was one of the best Ive had recently. The noodles were beautifully sauted with the egg, tofu, bean sprouts, ground peanuts and chicken. The added curry gave a nice punch.The Pineapple Fried Rice was a nice all-in-one dish with stir fried jasmine rice, cashew nuts, pineapple chunks and peppers. It was a bit on the small side to share, but we all got to have a spoonful or two.The Beef Red Curry was just ok for me. While the beef was tender, the curry was not thick enough, nor was it spicy enough for me. The Crispy Garlic Chilli was surprisingly nicelike a twist on the Chinese Sweet and Sour Chicken. Great. Have been a couple times now and haven’t been disappointed. My absolute favourite is the spicy noodle dish!! Our very first time the server that was working was great help in helping us decide what dishes we should get too.
My experience with your establishment. As a viet nam veteran and knowing what real thai is supposed to taste like I would have to disagree. This is not even close to what I remember. Its is too bad that you sacrificed quantity for quality with your cuisine because I rather enjoy thai food. I know white people that are able to cook better thai than that. You might want to be a little ashamed with the food. Maybe the cleanliness too by the looks of things.
Tasty but not all spicy!. Notes from the Culinary Queen: Have been to this new Stratford eatery three times and each time the food and service was great. Loved the appetizers, and the drinks and the Thai Basil Rice w chicken dish the best….but the salmon with mango sauce was outstanding too. This restaurant is a nice addition to the Stratford food scene.
