Cheap and Great. Annapoorna’s getting-stuffed-on-great-food-to-expense ratio is extremely high. This counter service place serves excellent Sri Lankan food for dirt cheap. An heaping portion of basmati rice gets a serving of meat curry (I like the mutton) and three vegetable curries (they change daily). It’s enough food for two, but who wants to share? Add in a crispy and soft vadai and you’re still not cracking $8. The biryani is also excellent. Easily my favourite South Asian place in Mississauga.
