As mentioned before in a comment, this place is terrible for walk in diners. Even if you arrive and the restaurant is only at 50% full. Youre greeted by a waiter/hostess and she is completely flustered. Once seated, its takes over 40mins for just appetizer to arrive and another 30min for main course. The atmosphere inside is very dark, old school. I can’t believe this place is still surviving and just riping people off. The food is mediocre for the price they charge, overcooked veal for me… Wouldn’t recommend this junk restaurant. The only up aide was the dessert, but hey, I’m not just there for dessert.
Customer profiling ?. I’m saddened to know that places like this still exist, that people like this still exist. I cannot review the food because my party was denied entry to a 3/4 empty restaurant ,the hostess/co-owner stating that they were completely booked.This was @ 8:45 Saturday night.We instead had a wonderful dinner at another streetsville establishment.When we walked by Giorgios @ 10:25 that same night the restaurant was dark/closed.Judging by the size of the place could they have possibly served the approximately 40 to 60 people they were expecting ,so quickly? Perhaps we just didn’t fit the profile of the kind of customer they care to serve.Streetsville,it’s citizens and shops has a charm that is reflected in the smiles and the graciousness that we are greeted with whenever we are there.Giorgio’s does a terrible injustice to these good people.
This is a great romantic restaurant. No kids in sight which is a big bonus for couples or adults that want to talk. Love the food and the service.
Went here with my wife on Valentine’s Day. Fantastic service! Waitress was amazing!! Food was 2nd to none. I will be returning here very often!!
Babies not welcome!. We dine 2-3 times a week in various restaurants in the GTA. We have never had any issues with including our baby. When I called ahead to make a early evening reservation at Giorgio’s Ristorante I was, for the first time, told that babies are not welcome. Unbelievable.
My fianc and I had a date here tonight and the service was absolutely amazing! The food was incredible! The chef came out as people were getting ready to leave and asked how their experience and food was! Every single customer he asked!! And he thanked every last person for coming! This place is exceptional and it has become my absolute favourite Italian restaurant of all time! Everyone has to try this place at least once 🙂
