FOOD:I had come here on a Tuesday afternoon at around 12:30 pm for a quick lunch as I was in the area. I had settled on the Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($3.00), which was the special of the day; I had chosen sourdough bread as my bread of choice for the sandwich. I was impressed with how delicious the sandwich tasted; it was grilled to perfection (and hot, temperature-wise, which kept me happy), with cheese oozing out of the sandwich, making the sandwich taste fresh and desirable. I also loved how the sandwich was cut, and the precision in making it look presentable to the customer. It was also quite big, filling me up for many hours afterwards. I can honestly say that they made an excellent grilled cheese sandwich!ATMOSPHERE:This restaurant was on the small side, more for take-out as opposed to dine-in. I sat near the cash register as I waited for my food, then sat at the same table as I ate. The dcor was a bit outdated as the walls were a dark colour and there weren’t many fancy pictures or writing on the walls. I also noticed that the chairs were a bit uncomfortable however, I understood that most people only came here for a short time, which was what I was there for as well. I did like the large menus placed behind the cash register, which were visible to see. I wouldn’t want to be at the restaurant when there were a lot of people as it would be much too crowded.SERVICE:When I had placed my order, the middle-aged woman behind the counter was very kind, answering any questions that I had regarding the order. She also brought my sandwich to me as she noticed I had a baby to take care of, which I found to be very kind of her. She also took my plate from me once I was finished, and thanked me for bringing it to her.COST:1 Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich: $3.00 + Tax = $3.39WOULD YOU RETURN?In all honesty, I loved the sandwich however, I did find the original prices of the items to be a bit too high. I would possibly come back if I were to get the special of the day however, I wouldn’t pay full price for the items.
