We were a group of 9 having dinner here tonight. Crab soup was a bit overdone or at least the crab meat was. Other dishes included roasted duck, boiled chicken, salt and pepper fried squid, preserved tofu sauce water-spinach, deep fried oysters and fried fish with almond coats. These were all very delicious. The food were all served in decent size.
Horrible! Worst ever! Not fresh, taste and service very bad! Rating 0 or worse! The dessert was not fresh! Tea smells very bad. And the roasted duck and the side dishes were not fresh as well. Too hard to eat! All seemed to be leftover food. The attitude of waitress was terrible.
A very important note on their happy hour times – $2/dish:Sat + sun: 2:30pm-3:45pmAnd it’s also cash only for dim sum happy hourHope this help
Worst service…..The store hours claimed that the restaurant closes at 1AM on Wednesday. Me and my friend went in, server told us if we wanted take out or not. Just when we were about to order, the manager comes out, literally took the menu out of our hands and said they were closed, that they were not taking orders anymore. We were literally trying to get a simple takeout. Server did his best, not going to lie, but I believe that the problem is with the management. Don’t think I will be coming back again.
Authentic Chinese food (not the Americanized version). The roast pork is amazing with its crispy skin and hoisin sauce. The BBQ pork is tender and delicious, but can occasionally be a little dry if too lean. Also incredible is the soy chicken and BBQ duck. From the kitchen consider ordering pork spring rolls. Crispy and flavorful. The place is usually extremely busy and the overly cramped takeout area is a hectic mess, but they’ll get you through there without much trouble.
This is the only place I will have Peking duck in west GTA, the meat is juicy that melt in your mouth, I would want them to bring back the cucumber for the fillings.
Horrible food and service. It took them forever to take our order because half of the staff was busy serving the other half of the staff dinner. We finally ordered the soya sauce chicken and rice, the rice was hot and the chicken was ice cold. When we tried to pay with debit we were told that they don’t take debit, yet no one told us that before we ordered. We had to walk to the corner bank machine to get cash and they wanted me to leave my son behind just in case I wasn’t going to come back to pay for their horrible food.
