2017/09/04Today was the last day of the season at Maple Leaf Dairy Bar for ice cream, although they will still be selling froyo and butter tarts on weekends. There were only five flavours left when we got there in the middle of the afternoon. They have been serving ice cream here for 52 years!SWMBO had the Peanut Butter Chocolate, and I had the Pralines and Cream. I nice treat on a warm afternoon.
If you are a fan of Toronto’s St. Clair Ice Cream (supplier to independent dairy bars and restaurants, founded in 1932) and fancy a cone, then stop by Maple Leaf Dairy Bar. Lots of ice cream flavours to choose from (try with a chocolate flavoured waffle!) and the decor/seating gives off a really inviting, happy vibe. Baked goods are also available! Lovely spot to take the family.
