This is one if my favorite places to shop. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There is no doubt that it is expensive – but if you are looking for certain specialty products – this is the place to go!

Old food…… I have been here several times and I must admit, I was like a kid in a candy store on the first couple of trips!!! I still like it but I have learned a valuable lesson…..MAKE SURE YOU CHECK EXPIRY DATES!!! While I would never want to accuse someone of selling old stock on purpose, I found expiry dates missing on two separate items and when I opened them, they had turned and were in fact bad. Be careful, watch your labels… I am not the first or only person to have noticed this…

Excellent!. You could go broke easily at the Cheese Boutique, but it’s all worth it!

Brutally expensive.. but nothing else like it. Well what is there to say about this, probably the most upscale specialty food shop in the entire GTA (haven’t been to McEwan’s).As the name of the place implies, their specialty is cheese. So much cheese, I get brutally confused every time I’m in the place. Some of their staff is really knowledgable, a few not so much. Once you’re there a few times you will begin to recognize the faces that are there alot, and the part time helpers.Lots of other goodies like homemade aged balsalmic and imported olive oils from Italy. I’d avoid the bottled items like jams and sauces though, lots of times they are near expiry or possibly even well expired. They don’t seem to check inventory often.Go for the cheese, olive oil, and balsalmic. Don’t get tricked into bakery items or produce because it will hurt your wallet even more than it already is

How do I love thee, let me count the ways…. Absolutely love this place. Don’t leave without trying the Testun di Barolo. Simply the best.

Worth a Trip. This place is worth the trip – even from the next town. he selection of cheese, vinegar, fine condiments and fancy things is unrivaled anywhere in the world – from New York to Tel Aviv. It is kind of expensive and you can run up a few hundred dollars in a hurry but for treats and special guests – this is the place to head. Worth the trip – even if only for a look.
