Best Shwarmas I’ve ever had!. This place is great! As a high school student, the $5 student special is really great: $5 gets you a shwarma, small drink, and fries or rice. The owner’s a very nice guy, he remembers me from when he used to work at Ali Baba’s up the street. Also, the food there just tastes better than Ali Baba’s. 10/10.

Vastly Superior to the Local Competition. My new go to place for Falafel. I’ve eaten at Ali Baba’s & Falafel World many times and can say without a doubt that Tasty Falafel is vastly superior. Their chicken shawarma sandwiches are large, delicious, and dirt cheap. It’s a clean, well kept establishment with friendly staff and they are open super late too, till 11PM Sun-Mon & 3AM Fri/Sat if I recall correctly. Highly recommend it. It’s probably the best shawarma I’ve ever had actually.
Best falafel shop in the city!. With so many options on Bloor west, I was so glad to find this place. The restaurant is new and spotless, the service is fast and friendly and the food is incredible! I had a mixed (chicken and beef) shawarma sandwich which was awesome. And the roasted potatoes with garlic sauce are the best i`ve ever had. Forget the other falafel shops on this strip, Tasty Falafel gets my business.
Tasty Falafel is REALLY good!. I’m a huge fan of Falafel World down the street, love ’em, BUT this new place Tasty Falafel is actually a bit better… a bit tastier, a bit better price, a bit more options/ingredients, and bit friendlier, a bit more generous, this place has really rocked my Bloor West world… deal breaker: Falafel World charges 50cents extra for a pinch of tabbouleh on a sandwich, Tasty Falafel generously applies tabbouleh for free and without hesitation… Tasty Falafel also has more overall options, gonna try their lamb next
