Get the broaster chicken! Basically fried chicken done right. Super tasty, REALLY juicy. Mashed potatoes are skin on, just the way I like them. My dining partners enjoyed what they had too, but both said that they were jealous that they didn’t order what I did. Definitely will be going back and getting the chicken en masse.
Ripoff. Ordered 3lbs of takeout wings last Saturday. Got home, didn’t seem like there were 3lbs of wings so I decided to weigh them on my kitchen scale. With the box they were in, they weighed 2.18 lbs. I then weighed them on another Digital scale to verify, came up to that same weight. While we enjoy the taste of their wings, and order quite regularly, felt this was the last straw. This has happened at least 4 x before. A call to the owner is met with cynicism. Be careful when you order takeout here. Will you get what you pay for?

This is my third time getting food from the location off of Tecumseh rd. I honestly feel that the food could be 20x better if they get new cooks. I feel the people back there have no clue what they’re doing or either they just don’t care. For my first time, I had the ribs, broasted chicken, and a side of mac n cheese. The ribs were good and tender and so were the wings. But the mac n cheese had no flavor and tasted like water. I had the nachos which were great on my second time. However this last time, I got the bake mac n cheese and broasted wings. The wings are very dry, and the mac n cheese has no flavor to it when it’s suppose to be made with four cheeses. It hardly has any cheese in it, and still tastes watery. They gave me barbeque sauce upon request for my wings, however the sauce seems to be watered down and thinned out as if to conserve more, as if they were running out. The sauce tastes more like water. If this place hired people who really know how to cook food, it would live up to its price range.
Yummy. Went here a little while back and the steak sandwich is to die for! I also recommend their fries
Blue Plate Specials are indeed specials, wait staff very friendly.
