In the 9 months that it has been open (now being Mar. 2016), Posto Panino has become one of our favourite drop-in venues. Yesterday we tried a pizza for the first time, specifically the Calabria style, sharing it along with a large Mediterranean salad. I followed up with the carrot cake pictured, while my wife chose a type of apple pie with ice cream. I judged the carrot cake one of the best I had ever tasted. My wife had no complaints about the pie, but it is prepared as several small balls of pastry with the apple inside and deep-fried. She simply prefers the more traditional pie in a pie plate.
