Not impressed with the service or the food. Overly spicy without notification. Guacamole packaged not fresh. Staff very inexperienced and in disarray. Bringing food and drinks to wrong table. Even the coffee was bad. Mentioned to server, no reaction. People don’t come back if first experience is poor . Liz
Great ambiance. Small place just up from landsdowne with different seating arrangements indoors and out. A seafood laden steak heavy treat of a menu. Several tempting cocktails. And oysters, well how could I resist? The menu has been streamlined with a nod to the Mexican restaurant that was Rosie’s predecessor. We tried the 6oz filet mignon and the paella. Both were delicious. The filet was smooth as butter, cooked perfectly to order, and my better half actually WENT ON about the side vegetables!! That’s a first lol the paella is served on a fajita skillet and was very very hot. It was also packed with seafood and sausage and delicious . The rice was moist and flavorful. Neither meal was over seasoned with salt, a plus. The service was excellent. This was a quiet night so the bartender served us. He paced his visits well and we wanted for nothing. Drinks and oysters were served quickly, mains took about 20 mins. They have happy hour which is great news! We will be back.
