A little disappointed, winter caprese was served very cold and under seasoned. Pizza was underwhelming as well. May try other dishes another time, but generally not wowed by any of our dishes.
Great little spot with some great drinks to start, fresh , and straightforward apps and perfect short ribs or pizza comfort food cooked in wood burning oven. Go early or make a reservation, tight quarters but will be back. Delicious without any pretentious attitude.
Local & delicious! One of our favourite neighbourhood spots. Only downfall is they don’t take reservations so you may have to wait when you arrive or go elsewhere. Worth trying to get in!
Loved- Brussels sprouts & roasted beets saladGood- wood fired cauliflower & fresh pappardelle in a slow braised rabbit raguI went here for a good friends birthday. We had the back room, which was awesome. The place is not that big so definitely make a reservation. I would highly recommend the beet salad and brussels sprouts! The beet salad was so flavourful and the brussels sprouts were done with pancetta. My main, the carbonara pasta, was really excellent and perfectly salty. Also, the fresh pappardelle in a slow braised rabbit ragu is pretty good. It is their staple pasta. All the food was really good. The staff were very nice and had great recommendations on what to eat. We pretty much had a perfect evening. My only comment is to be aware of how much your paying for a glass of wine. There wine list is only available on the board in the front behind where people sit. One of the owners recommended a $25 glass to my friend and it was a bit of a surprised when we got the bill. My only suggestion is for Annette Food Market to have a small printed wine list or offer price ranges of wines catered to your audience (ie. young adults). Great experience otherwise.
I don’t know why this place has a 3.1 rating. It is one of the best restaurants in the city. For four people we spent 150 dollars and had pizza, sardines, octopus, short ribs, rappinni, baked cheese and brussel sprouts AND a bottle of wine. SO GOOD.
This place is great. Food tasted great. Portions are a little small, but the prices aren’t high, so if you’re extra hungry you’renot going to break the bank by ordering another dish. The burrata with beets and chestnut cream was delish. The staff was really nice, cosy little atmosphere, fun cocktails. Good neighbourhood go-to spot.
Excellent Dinner. For such a tiny kitchen, the food really packs a punch. Absolutely delicious food, loved every minute there! Will return often 🙂
